What We Do

The CTLM is committed to improving education by helping teachers, students, and families to make sense of mathematics at all levels, pre-kindergarten through college.

Who We Are
  • We are the Center for Teaching and Learning Mathematics (CTLM).

  • We are part of the College of Humanities, Arts, and Sciences at the University of Northern Iowa.

  • We help teachers, students, and parents to make sense of mathematics.

  • We support educators by providing graduate-level courses for practicing teachers.

  • We support students by providing teacher training and resources for summer camps.

  • We support teachers, students, and families by creating and making available videos and supplementary resources in the areas of mathematics, literacy, early childhood, and parenting on the autism spectrum.
