Dr. Madalina Tincu currently serves as a part-time Program Assistant/Consultant for the Center for Teaching and Learning Mathematics. In her primary role as Senior Instructional Designer at Johns Hopkins University, she leverages over 25 years of experience in education, encompassing K-12 to higher education, to design and develop impactful learning experiences. Dr. Tincu's expertise lies in fostering academic excellence, research, innovation, and collaborative learning environments for all learners.
As a certified Quality Matters Higher Education Peer Reviewer, she brings instructional design expertise to the CTLM team. She supports the staff and online courses in adhering to quality assurance standards, implementing best practices for online teaching and learning, and ensuring universal design for learning principles are integrated.
Dr. Tincu holds a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Instructional Technology from UNI, earned in 2008.
