Mind Benders

A summer camp that will open your minds to the AMAZING WORLD OF MATH!

MCUSD #19 is offering a tuition-free summer program funded through the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA). One of the many goals of the summer camp will be to inspire the students' mindsets regarding how they perceive both math and themselves as mathematicians. We will be experiencing mathematics in new and creative ways as we learn how to stretch our brain muscles! 

Selection:

Enrollment will be on an invitational basis for students who
have completed 2nd through 5th grades. All students who
have received the invitation are eligible to register.
 

Our summer program offers students a new educational
opportunity to enjoy mathematics, deepen their number
sense, and increase their confidence in mathematics by
developing a growth mindset. It is being offered to students
who would benefit from “bending” their mathematical
minds and further developing their math understanding.
