VISION

The vision of Learning Together: Making Sense of Early Childhood is to empower families to engage in and enhance their children’s learning.

MISSION

The mission of Learning Together: Making Sense of Early Childhood is to provide research-based resources that support military families as they help their children grow and develop in the cognitive, language, physical, and social/emotional domains. The resources will support families by enhancing learning in the areas of mathematics and literacy.

GOALS

Families will better understand the importance of their role in their child’s growth and development, and therefore develop the competency and confidence needed to support content-learning within the context of play and daily routines.

  • Families will learn new strategies from the resources and use them throughout their day to enhance their children's learning in mathematics and literacy.
  • Families will be honored for the contributions they make to their children’s education as well as the contributions they make to their country.
  • Families will feel connected to the content and continue to access additional resources.
