Annette is a graduate of Westmar College with majors in elementary education and mathematics and holds a secondary education endorsement for mathematics. In 1997, she obtained her MA Degree from the Univeristy of Northern Iowa in Middles Grades Mathematics. In 2000, Annette was the Iowa Presidential Awardee Recipient for Elementary Mathematics and became Nationally Board Certified in Early Adolescence/Mathematics. Currently, Annette is a Leadership and Learning Consultant - Mathematics at Prairie Lakes Area Education Agency. Annette has been involved with facilitating Making Sense courses for UNI since 2007.
Annette and her husband, Dave, live in Webster City. They have two grown daughters.
